Taiwan International Orchid Show 2015 Kicks off

The annual “Taiwan International Orchid Show 2015” is scheduled to be held at the Taiwan Orchid Plantation between March 7 and 16. The Council of Agriculture (COA) said that this show this year uses “The Moment” as the major exhibition theme, stressing the nature, conservation and native concepts. Its industry pavilion introduces the value chain of Taiwan’s orchid industry, informing the buyers of the nation’s advanced orchid growing technology.
In addition, the orchid show also displays the best-selling orchid variety, Phal. Sogo Lotte F2510, which is also the one with the most countries (Taiwan, European Union, Japan) applying for its variety right. Its diverse exhibition contents and activities continuously boost the advanced Taiwan’s orchid industry, create opportunities for international trade, and exchange technologies with other countries. Moreover, the originally traditional consumption show is transformed into a semi-consumption and semi-trade show which provides exhibitors with a business talk and matchmaking platform.
