1. Revised the forth guideline in the Guidelines Governing Preferential Loans for Companies Planning to Locate to Agricultural Technology Parks.

2. Established the Office for Agricultural Technology Industry.

3. Approved 20% reduction in fishing intensity and the retirement of 28 fishing vessels.

4. The Singapore government approved imports of frozen chicken meat, silky chicken meat, and frozen duck products from Kai Shing Trading Co. Ltd. and Ger-Chean Foods Co. Ltd.

5. During the Chinese New Year period, the COA established a mechanism to allocate agricultural product supply and organized the agricultural product supply and marketing supervisory group to better coordinate and perform supply and marketing duties.

6. Initiated a purchase program for cabbage and Chinese cabbage.

7. Implemented program to supply milk to children from low-income families and those living in children’s homes.

8. Held the Taiwan Joint Examination of Irrigation Association for potential employees.

9. Revised standards for farmer and fishermen’s associations credit departments to grant credit and set credit limits for sponsored members and for non-members.
