1. Promulgated the Regulations for Training and Managing of Managers of Agro-pesticide Dealers and revised the Reward Regulations for Informer or Assistant to Discover Banned, Counterfeit or Inferior Agro-pesticide and Regulations of Agro-pesticide Inspecting.

2. Revised the 7th guideline in the Operational Guidelines for Establishing a Slaughterhouse and Applying for Financial Assistance.

3. By law, poultry for human consumption must be slaughtered within slaughterhouses. However, the COA announced that from April 1, 2010, slaughtering poultry in the home for one’s own use would no longer be restricted.

4. One year following their reestablishment, credit bureaus at farmers’ associations will have their loan restrictions adjusted if they are approved to join loan insurance, have a non-performing loan rate of less than 1%, have a net value that makes up at least 10% of active assets, and have a net value of NT$30 million or more.
