5. Completed disbursement of scholarship funds to the children of agricultural workers for the first semester of the 2008 – 2009 school year. 

6. Set up an agricultural e-commerce site accepting government-issued consumer vouchers.

7. Held the 2008 Outstanding Agricultural Workers awards ceremony.

8. Held an event to announce the results of the 2008 Farm Winery and Wine Evaluation activity.

9. Held the Tour No. 9 – Fragrant Rice promotional activity.

10. Attended FHC China, held in Shanghai.

11. The Virtual Museum of Taiwanese Agriculture opened its digital doors.

12. Implemented measures to stabilize the production and marketing of oranges.

13. Held an activity with pork merchants at traditional markets to promote domestic pork.

14. Sent representatives to the 5th Regular Session of the Western and Central Pacific Fisheries Commission.

15. The Soil and Water Conservation Bureau was awarded the water conservancy and sustainability and energy conservation prizes at the 9th Public Works Gold Medal Awards.
