After the outbreak of influenza subtype H5N6 virus in February, 2017, a large-scale control and monitoring mechanism was launched immediately followed by the establishment of the Animal Disease Emergency Response Team and the Central Emergency Operation Center Avian Influenza. Inter-ministerial cooperation was activated as well. Since March 6, none H5N6 case has been found in the country, and the COA thus informed OIE to conclude the case on July 24. National center for avian influenza disease control was established to study the prevention and control of the disease. By means of integrating relevant resources on research, the center could support the decision making of national policy and collaborate with the government administration.
